How Ballerina Farm reinvented the Frontier Mom...and monetized it

Forget the Kardashians, we’ve been busy keeping up with the Neelemans. Since we last checked in with Hannah Neeleman [aka Ballerina Farm / The Goose Gazette] in March 2024, lots has happened.

Perhaps most infamously, Hannah and her husband Daniel found themselves at the center of the internet discourse machine when the UK Times dropped a profile titled Meet the queen of the ‘trad wives’ (and her eight children), with an even more inflammatory subhead: “Hannah Neeleman, known to her nine million followers as Ballerina Farm, milks cows, gives birth without pain relief and breastfeeds at beauty pageants. Is this an empowering new model of womanhood — or a hammer blow for feminism?”
