5 reasons you need a digital strategy

Do you feel overwhelmed when it comes to your digital presence?  Are your clients telling you that your business needs to be online and you have no idea where to begin?  Or that you need a newsletter but don’t have the time to understand what’s already out there and how to make yours stand out?  Or maybe you are on a ton of social media platforms posting all the time and are burned out?  Or maybe you’re even paying someone to post for you, but the messaging and content is all off?

We are here to help.

Every brand [or company or person] needs to start with a digital strategy.  A digital strategy is a plan that outlines target audience[s], what content to produce, how it’s marketed and, most importantly, how putting in the effort translates to actual business goals.  Most agencies focus on the execution of digital tactics because that’s easy, but without a well-researched digital strategy from the start, going that route often costs more in the end.

You’re wasting time and money – tell me what you’re trying to accomplish with your online platforms, and we can audit what you’re doing to see what works and what doesn’t.  Or if you have nothing, great!  Let’s build from scratch and make it an awesome experience from the start.

  1. Understand your competitors – want to know how your competitors are outselling you, or how they have a huge Instagram following and a ton of Yelp reviews, but you don’t?  Let’s do a competitive analysis to understand their tactics and how to outmaneuver them.

  2. Build a community – creating and fostering a community of people who care about your business enough to follow you to any platform is invaluable. Enough said.

  3. Own your story – if at first it doesn’t seem like you need a digital presence, think again.  No matter your business, even B2B, people will search for it on Google and if there’s nothing there – or worse, it looks like a total mess of neglected social media accounts – guess where they’re going to turn to?  Your competitors.

  4. Value add – strong digital and social media channels adds value to your business because it raises brand awareness, reputation, it can drive sales, improve and manage customer experience, all things to keep in mind if you’re considering selling all or even a portion of your business.
